1 head of baby bok choy (about 900g)
60 ml melted butter
0.5 ml garlic powder
0.5 ml paprika
7 ml ground black pepper, divided
5 ml seasoned salt (such as LAWRY'S®)
Step 1
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, and 1/2 ml of black pepper; set aside.
Step 3
Trim the bottom of the baby bok choy and clean the stalks. Sprinkle both sides of the stalks with seasoned salt and the remaining 5 ml of black pepper.
Step 4
Place the baby bok choy on the preheated grill. Brush with the seasoned butter mixture, close the grill, and cook until the stalks develop grill marks and the edges of the leaves become crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Turn the bok choy, brush with the butter mixture, close the grill, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on the other sides. Brush with any remaining butter mixture and transfer to a platter to serve.
