8 cups water
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cinnamon stick
0.5 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Step 1
In a blender, combine 5 cups of water, quick-cooking oats, and a cinnamon stick. Blend for about 1 minute until smooth.
Step 2
Strain the oat mixture into a pitcher, collecting the liquid and reserving the solids. Pour the remaining water through the strainer to extract all the flavors. Add sugar and vanilla extract. Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour until cold.
