Ingredients

250 ml orange juice
1 tbsp grated orange zest
60 ml soy sauce
1 tsp salt
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tbsp brown sugar
45 ml vegetable oil
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
250 ml bean sprouts
1 (170 g) package crispy chow mein noodles

Directions

Step 1
In a small bowl, combine orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, salt, garlic, and brown sugar. Mix well.
Step 2
Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken. Stir-fry until fully cooked (no longer pink inside), about 7 to 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add the orange sauce mixture to the chicken and cook until the sauce starts to bubble. Gradually add the flour to thicken the sauce to your desired consistency. Stir in the bean sprouts and cook for 1 minute. Serve the hot mixture over chow mein noodles.
