15 ml olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 can (400g) chicken broth
2 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 can (227g) tomato sauce
125g ditalini or other small pasta
1 can (425g) cannellini beans, with liquid

Prepare all the ingredients needed for the recipe.

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and salt. Cook and stir until the onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the chicken broth, tomato sauce, and tomatoes. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

Add the pasta and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.

Stir in the undrained beans and cook until heated through, for 3 to 4 minutes.
