240g all-purpose flour
60g confectioners' sugar
113g butter, melted
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
100g white sugar
375g strawberries, sliced
14g (2 ounce) package strawberry Danish dessert mix (e.g. Junket)
240ml water
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F).
Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix flour and confectioners' sugar. Stir in melted butter. Press the mixture evenly into a 30cm pizza pan.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Allow to cool.
Step 4
While the crust is cooling, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese and white sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth.
Step 5
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust, then arrange the sliced strawberries on top.
Step 6
In a small saucepan, combine the custard dessert mix and water. Bring to a boil while stirring frequently. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour the mixture over the strawberry layer. Chill before serving, about 1 hour.
