120 ml soy sauce
30 ml honey
30 ml rice vinegar
30 ml sesame oil
30 ml brown sugar
30 ml sesame seeds
2 cloves minced garlic
1 (2.5 cm) piece fresh ginger, grated
60 ml cold water
15 ml cornstarch

In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, brown sugar, sesame seeds, garlic, and ginger. Mix until the ingredients are thoroughly blended to create the teriyaki glaze.
Step 2
Transfer the glaze mixture into a small saucepan and heat over medium-high heat. In a separate bowl, whisk together water and cornstarch, then pour into the saucepan with the glaze. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the glaze thickens, stirring frequently for about 5 to 7 minutes.
