Ingredients

1 (12-count) package Hawaiian rolls
6 mozzarella string cheese
5 Tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
Using a paring knife, carefully cut a 1/2-inch slit in the side of each roll and hollow out a small hole without cutting all the way through.
Step 3
Cut each string cheese in half and place one piece into each prepared roll, nestling them close together in a baking dish.
Step 4
In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Cover loosely with a paper towel and microwave until melted, stirring halfway through, for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Step 5
Generously brush the butter mixture over each roll and sprinkle with grated Parmesan if desired.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven until the rolls are golden brown and lightly toasted, for 15 to 18 minutes.
