450g ground beef
450g ground pork sausage
450g processed cheese
5ml Worcestershire sauce
15ml ketchup
1 (450g) loaf cocktail rye bread, or as needed
Step 1
Begin by preheating the oven to 175°C and lining a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Step 2
In a large, deep skillet, cook the ground beef and pork sausage over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly, which should take about 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 3
While the meat is cooking, place the processed cheese in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high until melted, which should take about 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 4
Once the cheese is melted, stir in the Worcestershire sauce and ketchup until well combined, then fold in the cooked meat.
Step 5
Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of the meat and cheese mixture onto each slice of rye bread, then arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 6
Bake the rye bread bites in the preheated oven, in batches if necessary, until they are lightly browned and crisp, which should take about 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
