60 ml vegetable oil
350 g diced pork loin
240 g diced onion
150 g diced celery
240 ml hot water
1 teaspoon salt
0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 can (14.5 oz) bean sprouts, drained and rinsed
80 ml cold water
30 g cornstarch
10 ml soy sauce
5 ml white sugar
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients for the stir-fry.
Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced pork and stir-fry until cooked through.
Step 3
Add the diced onion and stir-fry for 5 minutes. Then, add the diced celery, hot water, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the bean sprouts to the wok and bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 5
In a small bowl, combine the cold water, cornstarch, soy sauce, and sugar.
Step 6
Pour the cornstarch mixture into the wok and stir-fry until the sauce thickens to the desired consistency, about 5 minutes.
