60g poppy seeds
60ml milk
1 (520g) package lemon cake mix
1 (96g) package instant vanilla pudding mix
240ml water
120ml vegetable oil
4 eggs
Step 1
In a small bowl, combine poppy seeds and milk; let soak for 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease and flour a 25cm Bundt pan.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cake mix and pudding mix. Make a well in the center and pour in water, oil, and eggs. Use an electric mixer on low speed to blend the ingredients, then increase to medium speed and beat for 4 minutes. Fold in the poppy seed mixture. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
