240 ml vegetable oil
120 ml white sugar
60 ml cider vinegar
5 ml salt
5 ml ground paprika
5 ml celery seed
5 ml onion powder
1 large head broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets
1 (450 g) package sliced fresh mushrooms
2 stalks green onion, sliced
Step 1
In a jar, combine the vegetable oil, white sugar, cider vinegar, salt, ground paprika, celery seed, and onion powder. Seal the jar and shake well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, mushrooms, and green onion. Remove the dressing from the refrigerator, shake it, and pour it over the veggies. Toss to coat the vegetables and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
