4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
4 teaspoons of taco seasoning mix
250g of salsa
250g of shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons of sour cream
Step 1
Get all your ingredients ready. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C (375 degrees F). Lightly grease a 23x33cm baking dish.
Step 2
Place the chicken breasts in the prepared dish and sprinkle both sides with the taco seasoning mix.
Step 3
Pour the salsa over the chicken.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until the chicken is tender and the juices run clear, about 25 to 35 minutes.
Step 5
Sprinkle the chicken evenly with the shredded Cheddar cheese.
Step 6
Continue baking until the cheese is melted and bubbly, for an additional 3 to 5 minutes.
Step 7
Top with a dollop of sour cream and serve.
