3.8 liters cold water
120 grams white sugar
120 grams salt
8 ears corn on the cob, husks and silk removed
120 grams softened butter, or to taste
salt and pepper to taste
Step 1
In a large pot, mix cold water with sugar and salt until fully dissolved. Submerge the corn in the brine and let it soak for at least 30 minutes, but no more than 8 hours.
Step 2
Preheat the outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grate.
Step 3
Grill the corn, turning every 2 to 3 minutes, until lightly charred on all sides. Brush the corn with butter and season with salt and pepper.
