400g cinnamon toast crunch cereal
2 (600g) cans apple pie filling
1 (400g) box white cake mix
170g unsalted butter, cut into 20 pieces
50g chopped pecans (optional)
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Lightly grease a 23x33cm (9x13-inch) baking dish.
Step 2
Sprinkle the cinnamon toast crunch cereal on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Spoon the apple pie filling over the cereal, spreading it evenly without mixing. Sprinkle the white cake mix evenly over the apples. Place the butter slices on top. Sprinkle with additional cereal and chopped pecans, if desired.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until golden and bubbly, for about 50 to 60 minutes. Allow it to stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
