Savory Pork and Beans Casserole

5 mL vegetable oil, or as needed
1 (425 g) can baked beans with pork
60 mL ketchup
60 mL crumbled cooked bacon
45 g brown sugar
1.25 mL dry mustard powder
4 strips bacon
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F). Grease a 20-centimeter square casserole dish.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine the baked beans, ketchup, cooked bacon, brown sugar, and mustard powder. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Arrange the bacon strips on top. Cover with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove the foil and continue baking until the top is golden brown and crisp, for 20 to 30 minutes.
