1 lime wedge
5g of chili-lime seasoning (such as Tajin®)
300g of ice, or as needed
60ml silver tequila
3 slices of jalapeño, or more to taste
90ml pineapple juice
22ml triple sec or orange liqueur
22ml fresh lime juice
Step 1
On a plate, sprinkle the chili lime seasoning. Use the lime wedge to moisten the rim of a glass, then press the moistened rim into the seasoning. Fill the glass with ice.
Step 2
In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila and 2 jalapeno slices. Use a muddler to crush the peppers. Add pineapple juice, triple sec, and lime juice to the shaker, then add 150g of ice. Seal and shake vigorously until the outside is frosted, for about 10 to 15 seconds.
Step 3
Strain the margarita into the glass and garnish with the remaining jalapeno slice, if desired.
