Ingredients

200g bacon, sliced
80g sunflower seed kernels
1 large head broccoli, cut into bite-size florets
150g seedless red grapes, halved
80g diced red onion
240ml mayonnaise
45ml apple cider vinegar
30g white sugar
ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium-high heat until it is crispy and browned, about 10 minutes. Place the cooked bacon on paper towels to drain, then crumble 7 slices of bacon and mix with sunflower seeds in a resealable plastic bag. Set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, grapes, and red onion.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and black pepper. Crumble the remaining slice of bacon and fold it into the dressing.
Step 4
Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss to coat evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend.
Step 5
Before serving, sprinkle the bacon-sunflower seed mixture over the salad and mix well.
