175g white sugar
1 liter water, divided
150g blackberries
30g white sugar
240ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
ice cubes
Step 1
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 175g of sugar and 300ml of water. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Allow to cool.
Step 2
In a blender, combine blackberries and 30g of sugar. Blend until smooth.
Step 3
In a pitcher, mix the simple syrup, blended blackberries, remaining 700ml of water, and lemon juice. Place a fine-mesh sieve over the pitcher and pour the mixture through to strain out any solids. Serve over ice.
