500 g pitted dates
110 g blue cheese
500 g sliced bacon, halved
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
Step 2
Cut the dates in half lengthwise and open them up. Place a small amount of blue cheese in the center of each date and press the halves together to enclose the cheese. Wrap each stuffed date with a half-slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Arrange the wrapped dates in a baking dish or on a baking sheet with sides to catch any drippings.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until the bacon is crispy, about 30-40 minutes. Turn the dates over halfway through baking for even cooking.
