1 red grapefruit, refrigerated
15 g softened butter
15 g brown sugar
2.5 ml ground cinnamon
Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
Cut the grapefruit in half. If the halves don't sit flat, trim a thin slice off the bottom of each. Use a sharp paring knife to separate the fruit from the skin and between the segments for easier eating after cooking.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter and 10 g of brown sugar. Spread the mixture over each grapefruit half and sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar.
Step 4
Place each grapefruit half onto a 5-inch square of aluminum foil, folding the edges up to catch any juices. Put them into the air fryer basket.
Step 5
Air fry until the sugar mixture is bubbling, about 6-7 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
