2 packages (240g each) cornbread mix
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 eggs
360 ml milk
100 g grated Cheddar cheese
9 hot dogs, halved
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the cornbread mix and brown sugar. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth. Fold the eggs and cheese into the cornbread mixture until just combined. Spoon the mixture into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full. Place a hot dog half on top of the batter in each cup.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until the bites are golden brown, about 15-18 minutes.
