315 g packed brown sugar
225 g butter, softened
100 g white sugar
2 large eggs
30 ml milk
10 ml vanilla extract
220 g all-purpose flour
5 g baking soda
2.5 g salt
270 g rolled oats
350 g semisweet chocolate chips
120 g chopped walnuts
75 g shredded coconut
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar, butter, and white sugar until smooth.
Step 3
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
Step 4
Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the sugar mixture until well blended.
Step 5
Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, walnuts, and shredded coconut until evenly distributed.
Step 6
Drop rounded spoonfuls of the dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes for a chewy cookie or 14 minutes for a firmer texture.
Step 7
Allow the cookies to cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheets, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in a tightly sealed container once cooled.
