25 g basil leaves
1 L 1/2-inch cubes watermelon
10 mL lemon juice
1.25 mL kosher salt
1.25 mL chili powder
Step 1
Roll the basil leaves into a tight log and slice lengthwise into thin ribbons.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the basil ribbons and cubed watermelon. Drizzle with lemon juice.
Step 3
Mix together the salt and chili powder, then sprinkle over the watermelon and toss to combine. Chill the salad for at least 30 minutes before serving.
