Ingredients

4 bananas, peeled and halved horizontally
8 ice pop sticks
80 g peanut butter
225 g semisweet baking chocolate, chopped
115 g roasted peanuts, chopped

Directions

Step 1
Insert an ice pop stick into the cut end of each banana half. Place the bananas on a wax paper-covered baking sheet and freeze until solid, about 2 hours.
Step 2
Spread a layer of peanut butter on each frozen banana and return them to the freezer for 30 to 45 minutes.
Step 3
In a double boiler, melt the chocolate over simmering water, stirring frequently until smooth.
Step 4
Dip each peanut butter-covered banana in the melted chocolate, ensuring it is completely coated. Roll the dipped bananas in the chopped peanuts and place on the wax paper-covered baking sheet. Freeze until the chocolate is firm, about 1 to 2 hours.
