80 ml vegetable oil
3 slices bacon, cut into thirds
1 tsp salt, to taste
1 tsp ground black pepper, to taste
1 head cabbage, cored and sliced
1 white onion, chopped
1 pinch white sugar

Prepare all the ingredients.

In a large pot over medium heat, warm the vegetable oil. Add the bacon and season it with salt and pepper. Cook until the bacon is crispy, which should take about 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 3
Add the cabbage, onion, and sugar. Continuously cook and stir until the cabbage and onion are tender, which should take about 5 to 10 minutes.
