1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
60 ml water
0.125 teaspoon salt
0.125 teaspoon pepper
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the asparagus spears; cover and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Add water, cover, and steam the asparagus to prevent it from drying out. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes or until the asparagus is tender. Season with salt and pepper.
