Ingredients

2 rib-eye steaks (225 g each)
125 ml balsamic vinegar
60 ml soy sauce
3 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp olive oil
10 g ground black pepper
5 ml Worcestershire sauce
5 g onion powder
3 g salt
2.5 ml liquid smoke flavoring
1 pinch cayenne pepper

Directions

Step 1
Prepare the marinade by combining balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, olive oil, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, liquid smoke, and cayenne pepper in a medium bowl.
Step 2
Place the rib-eye steaks in a shallow glass dish and pour the marinade over them. Turn the steaks to coat them evenly and rub the marinade into the meat for maximum flavor.
Step 3
Cover the dish and marinate the steaks in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 days.
Step 4
Preheat the grill to medium-high to high heat and lightly oil the grill grate. Grill the steaks until they are hot, slightly firm, and have a light pink center, about 7 minutes per side.
Step 5
Use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature, aiming for 60°C for a medium doneness. Discard any leftover marinade.
