3 large eggs
120 ml milk
30 g white sugar
5 ml ground cinnamon
5 ml vanilla extract
8 (1.25 cm) slices challah bread
30 g butter, or as needed
Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs until fluffy. Add the milk and whisk in the sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until well combined. Transfer the mixture to a shallow bowl.
Step 2
Dip the challah slices into the egg mixture, soaking each side for about 3 minutes.

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt some butter. Cook the challah slices in batches until browned on both sides, adding more butter as needed.

Serve with maple syrup and berries for a delicious breakfast.
