¼ cup (60 ml) butter
⅔ cup (160 ml) water
½ cup (60 g) all-purpose flour, sifted
2 eggs, beaten with a pinch of salt
Step 1
Gather all the ingredients.
Step 2
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Cook until the butter has melted and the mixture comes to a boil.
Step 3
Add the flour all at once, stirring vigorously with a wooden spoon over medium-low heat until the mixture forms a ball and the saucepan is coated in a light film of flour, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 4
Remove the pan from heat and let it cool for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, with the wooden spoon until the mixture forms a sticky dough with a pipeable consistency.
