0.5 vanilla bean
240 ml heavy whipping cream
30 g superfine sugar
2.5 ml vanilla extract
Step 1
Prepare the vanilla bean by splitting it lengthwise and scraping out the seeds with a knife. Discard the pod.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the vanilla seeds, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Step 3
Using an electric mixer, whip the cream until it forms soft peaks, which should take 3 to 5 minutes. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving.
