340 g skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized cubes
2.5 ml garlic salt
2.5 ml ground black pepper
2.5 ml paprika
30 ml olive oil
5 cloves garlic, chopped
22.5 ml Worcestershire sauce
7.5 ml soy-based liquid seasoning (such as Maggi®)
1 serrano pepper, sliced diagonally
Step 1
In a bowl, season the chicken with garlic salt, black pepper, and paprika. Allow it to marinate for 15 minutes.
Step 2
In a pan over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add chopped garlic and sauté until it begins to brown, about 1 minute. Add the marinated chicken and mix well to prevent the garlic from burning. Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and liquid seasoning. Reduce the heat and let it simmer until the chicken is almost cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in the sliced serrano pepper and simmer for an additional 2 minutes. Transfer the chicken salpicao to a serving dish.
