110 g whole-wheat bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
30 ml olive oil
11/2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
5 ml lemon juice
2.5 ml minced garlic
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet.
Step 2
Bake for 10 minutes.
Step 3
In a small blender or food processor, blend together the olive oil, parsley, chives, basil, lemon juice, and garlic until smooth.
Step 4
Transfer the hot bread cubes to a medium bowl. Drizzle the herb-infused oil over the bread cubes and toss to coat. Return the coated bread cubes to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 13 minutes, stirring once, until crisp and golden around the edges. Let them cool.
