Ingredients

1.5 tbsp salted butter
80 ml brown sugar
60 ml white sugar
60 ml prepared yellow mustard
1 large egg
0.25 tsp salt
0.125 tsp ground black pepper
180 ml cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1
In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and then remove it from the heat.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, white sugar, mustard, egg, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in the cider vinegar until well combined. Pour this mixture into the melted butter in the saucepan.
Step 3
Stir the sauce over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for an additional 3 minutes.
