Ingredients

8 jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise, seeds and membranes removed
115 g softened cream cheese
115 g Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 160 g)
16 cocktail wieners, such as Hillshire Farms Lil Smokies
2 (8 count) packages of crescent roll dough

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Rinse the jalapeños to remove any remaining seeds and pat them dry.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and Cheddar cheese together until well combined. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and top with a sausage.
Step 3
Separate the crescent dough into 16 triangles. Wrap each filled pepper in a crescent dough triangle and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 13 to 15 minutes. Allow them to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
