Ingredients

250 g ground beef
120 g chopped onion
1 clove garlic
80 ml water
1 packet (28 g) taco seasoning mix
1 can (411 g) diced tomatoes with garlic and onion
240 ml salsa
30 g chopped fresh cilantro
240 g refried beans
1 12-inch prepared pizza crust
170 g Mexican-style shredded four-cheese blend
200 g shredded lettuce
2 tomatoes, chopped
65 g sliced black olives, drained
60 g chopped green onion
240 ml sour cream, or as desired

Directions

Step 1
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook and stir the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is completely browned. Drain the fat from the skillet.
Step 2
Stir water and taco seasoning mix into the beef mixture, then bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Place the pizza crust onto a baking sheet.
Step 4
In a blender, blend the diced tomatoes, 240 ml salsa, and cilantro until smooth.
Step 5
Spread the refried beans in an even layer on the prepared pizza crust, leaving a border of about 1/2-inch uncovered around the outside. Spread 240 ml of the diced tomato mixture over the beans in an even layer, reserving the remaining sauce. Scatter the ground beef mixture over the sauce, then cover with 170 g of cheese.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is bubbly and the crust edges are golden brown, for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Top the pizza with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, black olives, green onions, and the remaining cheese. Serve with the reserved sauce, sour cream, and remaining salsa.
