2 cans (800g) baked beans
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 tbsp pancake syrup
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tsp prepared yellow mustard
4 slices bacon
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, combine the baked beans, chopped onion, pancake syrup, brown sugar, ketchup, and mustard.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish and lay the bacon slices on top.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the bacon is browned and the beans have thickened.
