Ingredients

80g thinly sliced green onions
60ml soy sauce
30ml sesame oil
30g crushed, roasted macadamia nuts
15g finely crumbled dried seaweed
5g grated fresh ginger root
2.5g hot red pepper flakes
2.5g kosher salt, or to taste
450g sushi-grade ahi (yellowfin) tuna, cut into 2cm cubes
15g thinly sliced green onions, or more to taste
5g toasted sesame seeds
5ml lemon juice

Directions

Step 1
In a large glass or ceramic bowl, whisk together green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, macadamia nuts, seaweed, ginger, pepper flakes, and salt. Add the tuna and toss to coat evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Step 2
Remove the poke from the refrigerator and stir. Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds, then drizzle lemon juice over the top.
