1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp ground coriander
1-1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt, to taste
450 g boneless and skinless chicken tenderloins
2 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
4 wedges fresh lemon (optional)
Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 199°C (390°F) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine cumin, coriander, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Pat the chicken tenders dry with a paper towel, then drizzle with olive oil. Rub both sides of the tenders with the spice mixture until well coated with oil and spices.
Step 3
Arrange the tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway through. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 74°C (165°F) in the thickest part. Depending on the size of the air fryer, you may need to cook in batches, and timing may vary.
Step 4
Remove the tenders from the air fryer, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with a wedge of lemon.
