2 cups (320g) seedless watermelon cubes
1 lime wedge
1 pinch of kosher salt
ice cubes
45 ml silver tequila
22.5 ml orange-flavored liqueur (e.g., Cointreau®)
22.5 ml lime juice
1 thin slice of jalapeño, plus extra for garnish

Step 1
In a blender, puree the watermelon until smooth. Use a lime wedge to moisten the rim of a margarita glass, then dip the rim in salt.
Step 2
Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, jalapeño, and 60 ml of the watermelon puree. Shake vigorously until well chilled.
Step 3
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass. Garnish with a watermelon wedge and a slice of jalapeño.
