Ingredients

strawberries, sliced
60 g sugar
280 g Original Bisquick® mix
120 ml milk
40 g sugar
45 g butter or margarine, melted
120 ml whipping cream

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). In a large bowl, mix the sliced strawberries and 25 g of sugar; set aside.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, stir together the Bisquick mix, milk, 40 g of sugar, and melted butter until a soft dough forms. Drop the dough by 6 spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, for 10 to 12 minutes. Meanwhile, in another medium bowl, beat the whipping cream with an electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form.
Step 4
Split the warm shortcakes, fill and top them with the strawberries and whipped cream.
