225 g bow tie pasta
1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1.5 tsp dried dill
180 ml white vinegar
240 g white sugar
240 ml water
15 ml vegetable oil
15 ml prepared mustard
2.5 g salt
2.5 g ground black pepper
Step 1
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 12 minutes. Drain and rinse the pasta with cold water until cool.
Step 2
In a large salad bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cucumber, onion, and dill.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar, water, vegetable oil, mustard, salt, and black pepper until the sugar and salt have dissolved. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss lightly to coat. Chill the salad for 2 hours before serving.
