1 wedge of lime
1 tsp coarse sea salt, or as needed
1 large ice cube
250 ml ice cubes, or as needed
60 ml white tequila
45 ml triple sec
30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
1 slice of lime
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Use a lime wedge to moisten the rim of a glass. Sprinkle salt onto a plate and lightly dip the moistened rim into the salt.
Step 3
Place a large ice cube in the glass and freeze the prepared glass until ready to serve.
Step 4
Fill a cocktail shaker with fresh ice. Add tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Cover and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker has frosted.
Step 5
Strain the margarita into the chilled glass and garnish with a slice of lime.
