Ingredients

3 tbsp olive oil
1 small clove garlic, minced
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed tomato soup
60 ml bottled marinara sauce
150 ml water
1 tsp chopped fresh oregano (or to taste)
0.5 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil (or more to taste)
6 Italian-style seasoned croutons (or as needed)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1
In a large saucepan over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté until tender and fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the condensed tomato soup and marinara sauce. Fill the empty soup can halfway with water, swirl, and slowly pour it into the soup.
Step 2
Add the oregano and ground black pepper. Bring the soup to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 15 minutes to blend the flavors. Stir in the fresh basil.
Step 3
Ladle the soup into bowls and top with croutons and Parmesan cheese.
