Ingredients

12 frozen hash brown patties
1 1/2 cups chili
1 cup shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
24 thin slices of jalapeno
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
hot sauce (optional)

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the hash brown patties on the sheet.
Step 2
Bake the hash brown patties in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, flipping them after 20 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Step 3
Evenly distribute the chili, cheese, and jalapenos over the baked hash brown patties. Return them to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 4
Top the loaded hash browns with sour cream, green onions, and a drizzle of hot sauce if desired. Serve immediately.
