3 sprigs fresh basil, stems removed
1 small watermelon, fruit removed with a melon baller
225 g fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into small pieces
30 ml olive oil
30 ml balsamic vinegar
salt and ground black pepper to taste
Step 1
Prepare small basil circles by trimming the leaves.
Step 2
Thread watermelon and mozzarella cheese onto toothpicks, sandwiching a basil leaf in between. Arrange on a serving plate.
Step 3
Drizzle the skewers with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
