Ingredients

50g unsalted butter
50g brown sugar
170g all-purpose flour
90g brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
20g all-purpose flour
20g unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
0.25 tsp salt
75g flaked coconut
75g chopped walnuts

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a bowl, beat together the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Stir in the all-purpose flour; press into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan.

Bake for about 15 minutes or until the crust turns golden.

In another bowl, combine remaining brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the remaining flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir this mixture into the egg mixture. Fold in coconut and walnuts; pour over crust.
