Ingredients

3 cups large garlic chives
0.5 cup fresh basil leaves
1 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried basil
salt and ground black pepper to taste
0.5 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

In a food processor, pulse the garlic chives until finely chopped. Add fresh basil and pulse until finely chopped. Gradually pour in the olive oil while processing until smooth. Then add garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper; pulse until well blended.

Add the cream cheese to the mixture and pulse until fully combined. Transfer the pesto to a bowl, cover it, and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
