Ingredients

1 cup olive oil
0.5 cup soy sauce
4 lemons
0.25 cup prepared yellow mustard
0.25 cup minced fresh chives
0.5 cup minced fresh sage
0.5 cup minced fresh oregano
0.5 cup chopped fresh parsley
0.25 cup minced fresh thyme
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon paprika
3 tablespoons salt-free herb seasoning blend

Directions

1

Gather all ingredients.

2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, and mustard.

3

Stir in chives, sage, oregano, parsley, thyme, garlic, paprika, and herb seasoning. Cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend before marinating your favorite meat.

4

Place turkey or chicken in a large plastic kitchen bag. Pour marinade over the bird. Remove excess air, seal the bag with a twist tie, and rotate it to coat the poultry in the marinade.

5

Marinate the turkey or chicken in the refrigerator for 24 hours, repositioning the bag every 4 hours for even coating.

6

Before roasting, remove poultry from the bag and transfer the marinade to a saucepan. Boil the marinade for a few minutes, then use it to baste the turkey or chicken every 30 minutes during roasting.

7

Discard remaining marinade once the turkey or chicken is fully cooked.
