Ingredients

0.75 cup milk
0.75 cup water
0.5 cup white sugar
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
5 tsp active dry yeast
5 cups all-purpose flour
0.5 cup margarine, melted

Directions

1

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, warm milk, water, sugar, and salt. Remove from heat, then mix in eggs and yeast until combined.

2

Measure flour into a large bowl and create a well in the center. Pour the milk mixture into the well; do not stir yet.

3

Cover with a lid and let stand for 20 to 30 minutes.

4

Add melted margarine to the flour mixture, mix well. If too sticky, add more flour. Knead lightly, then cover and let rise for 20 to 30 minutes.

5

Shape dough into 16 rolls and place on a baking sheet. Cover again and let rise for another 20 to 30 minutes.

6

Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).

7

Bake until golden brown and bounce back when gently pressed, about 15 minutes.
