Indulge in these golden puff pastry clouds, each filled with a velvety chocolate mousse. A delightful fusion of prepared pastry, smooth pudding, and whipped topping makes for an effortlessly decadent dessert.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Unfold puff pastry sheets onto a lightly floured work surface. Cut each sheet into 3 equal strips, then cut each strip into 4 squares, creating 12 pastries per sheet. Place squares on a baking sheet.
Bake until golden brown for about 15 minutes. Let the pastries cool completely.
In a bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix until thick and smooth. Allow it to stand and further thicken for 3 minutes. Gradually fold whipped topping into the pudding.
Fill a piping bag fitted with a medium tip with the chocolate mousse. Gently open one corner of each pastry square using a knife or finger. Create a small pocket in the pastry and pipe about 1 tablespoon of chocolate mousse into the opening. Repeat for the remaining squares and mousse.
Dust the clouds with confectioners' sugar.
